Teachers from our last training... in their own words stated:
"Training was fun. Fantastic. Very informative!"
"Absolutely awesome! I wish I could do this more than once a year."
Digital Teachers is a joint project of KIPP Bay Area Schools & Streetside Stories. The project is supported by a Professional Development for Arts Educators grant from the US Department of Education, Office of Innovation & Improvement. Digital Teachers trains middle school educators to integrate digital storytelling into the core curriculum, and is working with WestEd to evaluate the program's effectiveness and impact on teaching and learning and student achievement.

I first saw digital story telling implemented by our social studies teacher at KIPP Bridge last year. The students loved it and since then I've seen several other teachers use it on campus. Every time the results are awesome! I am really excited to use this in math and for students to use as a social action project.
I'm really excited to see my kids implement technology with math. The plan is to have them do mini video lessons, and the school could possibly use them for future resources and classes. I'm excited!!
I feel extremely nervous and excited. My head is going a little too fast for my body and I’m having trouble focusing. I feel like the project will be great as long as I plan well.
I’m excited about learning more for our project so that it can be extremely powerful and beneficial to our community. I love the “Ish” touch that I picked up today and am excited about the prospects of what tomorrow will bring.
I am really excited about getting to do this with the kids and seeing what they come up with.
I'm scared teaching 96 students something I don’t totally understand!
I feel good about today. I’m really excited about tomorrow and want to dive into the process and see what happens.
